You need a pinning tray for gutting locks. The tray holds your pins in numbered order so you can pull a lock apart and put it back together without losing track of which pin goes where.
The followers are what actually get you into the lock. As you push the plug out of the shell, the follower goes in right behind it, taking the plug's place so the driver pins and springs stay captured instead of launching across the room.
This set includes four standard size followers, that fit an American 1100 and Paclock 90A-Pro plugs. That covers your green & blue belt level locks and most locks with a similar or larger plug diameter going up from there.
